Privacy policy

Appletide is an independently operated software studio. This policy explains how the Appletide website and browser extensions handle information.

Website information

This website does not use advertising trackers, behavioral advertising, or third-party analytics. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, may process basic request and security information such as IP address, browser type, requested page, and request time to deliver and protect the website.

Information processed by our products

SheetDiff processes selected CSV files inside the browser and does not upload their contents. TypeSwift stores shortcut templates locally and runs only on sites explicitly enabled by the user. ShopSpy reads public storefront signals only after the user requests an inspection. MeetTrack stores approximate attendance observations locally. Product-specific disclosures shown in each extension apply in addition to this policy.

License activation

When a customer activates a paid license, the extension sends the license key, product identifier, and a randomly generated installation identifier over HTTPS to the Appletide license service. The service uses Creem to activate or validate the license. After successful activation, the extension stores an opaque entitlement token, status, validation dates, and the final four license-key characters. The raw license key is not retained by the extension.

Purchases

Creem acts as merchant of record and processes checkout information, payment details, billing address, taxes, fraud checks, receipts, refunds, and related transaction records under Creem's own terms and privacy policy. Appletide may receive the purchase email, product, payment status, license status, and transaction identifiers needed to deliver and support the product. Appletide does not receive complete card details.

How information is used

Information is used only to deliver the website, provide and validate licenses, respond to support, prevent abuse, process eligible refunds, maintain transaction records, and comply with legal obligations. Appletide does not sell personal information.

Retention and deletion

Local extension data can be removed by clearing the extension's stored data or uninstalling it. Support correspondence and license or transaction records may be kept while needed to provide service and as required for fraud prevention, accounting, tax, dispute resolution, or legal compliance. You may request access, correction, or deletion by contacting support; some records may need to be retained where legally required.

Security and international processing

License requests use HTTPS and private Creem credentials remain on the license service. Cloudflare and Creem may process information in countries other than the customer's country. No system can guarantee absolute security.

Children

Appletide products are intended for general productivity use and are not directed to children under 13.
